In December, as we celebrate the birth of the most famous child, baby Jesus, we set out to explore depictions of mothers with their children. By tracing fascinating parallels, we discover how this intimate and timeless theme reappears in modern and contemporary art after the Middle Ages.

Program
We invite moms and dads for a guided tour to enjoy art with their one-year-old or younger babies. As museum educators and mothers alike, we have found that there are few museum programs that appeal to new parents. So with these guided tours we create an atmosphere in which no one is embarrassed by a crying or hungry baby.

Participation fee: 2000 HUF, including entrance fee
Duration: 60 minutes

The uninterrupted enjoyment of the programme is ensured by the use of tourguide devices. For artifact protection reasons, please secure baby carriers at the front. Visitors arriving with pushchairs are advised to use the barrier-free staff entrance located in Building B, Hunyadi Courtyard.
