A few words about the Varsányi Szirének:

Varsányi Szirének is a self-taught women's acapella group, choir and community. It has been around for six years now, but it is constantly evolving. Regular but informal and free sing-alongs, concerts, artistic collaborations and building our community are a constant part of this evolution. We believe that anyone can sing in an accepting and open environment - and singing together is a liberating, wonderful collective experience that anyone and everyone needs.

A few words about the EMMA Association:

The EMMA Association is a national women's organisation working for women's fundamental rights and social equality, with a particular focus on gender-based oppression, violence against women during childbearing and child-rearing, and sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), at individual, community and societal levels, with a particular focus on vulnerable groups of women.

We believe in the power of solidarity and unity among women. We believe that every woman, at every moment of her life, is equally entitled to dignity, security, freedom and self-determination. Our core values are freedom, authenticity, acceptance and joy, which we strive to live out at personal, organisational and community levels.
