Have we lost our minds ? Looks like it, because on May 11th we will be holding a mega Pavilion Day with the Pavilon band and Club-Mate.
Now let's see the brains:
As a tribute to past traditions, after a two-year hiatus, we will once again be hosting the Mate pong tournament, a "mateified" version of the well-known Beer pong. You can register on the spot from 14h00 or by messenger message until the tournament starts. You will find information about the details of the tournament and prizes in the posts.
The afternoon matinee starts at 3pm with a hiphop-easy listening set by Woody and Gra3o, who will set the mood for the day until 7pm. After them, the Pavilon band, a duo of Áron Irlanda (vocals, music) and Kristóf Irlanda (rap, vocals) will start.

The name match is a coincidence. They had their first musical experience together in a pavilion, hence the name Pavilon 🙂 Kristóf read a poem and Áron took out his guitar and started to play an alto, at the end they looked at each other, hey, that's pretty good. Since then the music and the lyrics have evolved a lot, besides the guitar there are now dobalaps, electric violin and piano, Áron mixes them on a looper, playing the guitar and violin live on the pre-recorded tracks. It would be hard to put the music that Pavilon plays into one style, but perhaps folk hiphop best describes it.
At 16h00, the mate-pong tournament kicks off with a huge bang. It's crazy.
After the gig, the first vinyl records are released, courtesy of passionate collector and record rider Galactic Jackson, who is almost home on the Nehruvian coast.
Backstage, meanwhile, Ramin Sayyah is warming up, it's hard to tell if we're at a professional sporting event or if we're just so enchanted by the Pavilion again. Either way, from 10pm until closing time, we can enjoy Ramin's "season opening" closing set, which we're all looking forward to.
At midnight, everyone goes home feeling like they did their job well, and the next day they come down to the Pavilion and tell their friends about the surreal experience they had yesterday.
