HOLYWOOD VERSUS HUNGARY, OR HOW WE INVESTIGATED IN RELATION TO FICTION - A PRESENTATION BY PÉTER DOSZPOT AND GÁBOR ANTAL
Is there a basis in reality for the great crime films (e.g. Abducted, Zodiac, The Seventh) that were watched with great excitement by millions of people around the world? How does an investigation in this country compare to these? Is what we see in the films realistic? What goes on in the minds of the detectives as they solve a case? Where are the limits to the tools of detection? What can an investigator use for the purpose and what can't? Who else can help in the investigation of a crime?

Schedule
These are some of the questions we can get answers to at the exciting joint lecture of Péter Doszpot, former homicide detective, and Gábor Antal, psychologist, entitled Hollywood versus Hungary, or how we really investigated compared to fiction! During the two-hour lecture, the audience will watch the relevant excerpts of the three films together, and the speakers will react to the scenes presented based on what they have seen.
The performance is for charity, with the organisers donating the entire proceeds from ticket sales to the renovation of the bad roof of the Murányi Street house in the 7th district. So, in addition to seeing an exciting criminological performance, the audience will also be supporting an important community cause!
Ticket price: 2.500 Ft. Tickets can be purchased on site before the programme.
