JaMese
After a long time, Anna Szabó T. will publish a new book of poems in 2024, for which the JaMese band, which is signed by singer-songwriter Emese Molnár, will compose a new album. Since the publication of the Musical Advent Calendar in 2019, the poet and singer have increasingly felt how beautifully poetry and melody can form together, supporting the most important elements of both genres: rhythm, rhyme, melody, pulsation, versification, verse-legs. They could be difficult concepts, but when the melody of the mother tongue naturally rolls out and the words become music, the power of the words is revealed and the rhymes take on a life of their own.
Schedule
The JaMese orchestra, which has revived the genre of the sung poem, once again creates a colourful and varied musical programme of poems that take the form of holiday activities. The playfulness of the new music reinterprets the sound imitation games and the singing circle games interwoven with movement. And with the melodies hidden in the words, she wants to inspire children to create their own melodies, improvise and invent new kinds of rhythm games.
