Tommy Vig, once considered a child prodigy in his homeland, and after emigrating to the United States, he achieved extraordinary success in the United States, playing with world stars such as Frank Sinatra, Miles Davis, Marvin Gaye, Rod Stewart, Diana Ross and Michael Jackson, and still a highly acclaimed jazz drummer and percussionist.

After returning home in 2006, he has continued to give many major concerts, but he has also been a hit with jazz fans on smaller club stages with various formations. His unique musical world combines elements of contemporary, classical and jazz music. On 29 June, two weeks before his 86th birthday, he will give his farewell concert at the Hungarian House of Music at 8pm on Saturday evening - his last performance with his fellow musicians, bringing to an end a rich and eventful career spanning almost eight decades.
