Twenty years ago, the A38 Ship anchored in the main arena of Budapest's cultural life. We celebrate 20 years with 20 nights. Concerts, parties and YOU! All those who have made the last twenty years possible. Celebrate with us in April and May at A38's birthday events.

On 21 April, the Totem Tribe and the Deepfields tribe will join forces in the belly of the A38. They will be assisted by the Romanian minimal duo, NTFO, who will be aided by delegates from both tribes. Li & Baco will give us a tour with Vedat Akdağ to enhance the experience of the journey, while Sculpture Light will be responsible for the visuals. An already special weekend will be made even more unforgettable by the birthday of A38.
If music is a separate space in the imagination, then the minimal is a very spacious neighbourhood, where carefully dosed glints and tiny noises gently lace the endless horizon. A silky elegance pervades the landscape where the rominimal flourishes. It is through this landscape that the two chicks, NTQ and Fort, from the fusion of NTFO, criss-cross, with a playful sound, sometimes with discreet jazz and funky micro-elements, strictly within the boundaries of the genre they love.
A38 Ship
Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
