Kokopelli Jazz matiné
Kokopelli Jazz Matiné is the only jazz music group in the country to perform for children: in addition to jazz music, they also offer a variety of games, exercises and interesting musical solutions. They'll be joined by two plush puppet friends, Fluffy and Chirpy Beak, who will get them into all sorts of adventures. All this with very colourful and moving music and songs.

Jazz Matinee, where the seven-piece jazz band will perform interactive, playful concerts for preschool and school children. Their aim is to use jazz to keep children's improvisation skills alive by performing their own compositions and lyrics, and to promote creative problem-solving and its everyday application through improvisation. The two presenters (Eszter and Niki) engage the children with games, puppets and exciting tasks, keeping them in touch with the orchestra throughout the concert.
Through the lyrics of the compositions, adapted to the children of today, the constant interaction and the use of numerous props, the children are imperceptibly enveloped in the saturated world of jazz harmonies, with varied rhythm patterns, sparkling instrumental improvisations, famous covers of jazz history and varied solos by the wind section. The performance also includes short instrumental demonstrations to help you understand the music, making the experience of making music more tangible and understandable.
