The fog weighed heavily on the barren landscape. A light next to the tiny train station was switched on. The drips of dampness dripped off it, shaking like a poplar leaf.

The train arrives, exuding a vague warmth, almost lost in the fog. I climb aboard, and watch the station and the lights recede, and slowly, slowly, so that I have time to do everything before the train is swallowed up by the darkness.
