Tracy Lisk is a drummer from Philadelphia who, in addition to making music, also works as a painter. He leads percussion ensembles, and as a drummer he is primarily interested in improvisation. He has collaborated with some of the most renowned artists in the world, including Dave Burrell, William Parker, Maggie Nicols, Phil Minton, and Japanese dumb dancer Ryuzo Fukuhara.
The Croatian double bassist Boris Janje, who lives in Ljubjana, became interested in free improvisation while studying classical music. His band is "Jaz, drevo" (I, Fa), but he also plays a lot in other line-ups and works with dancers.
David Karla is an Australian wind player, saxophone and clarinet currently living in Budapest. As well as improvising, he also plays a lot in various electro-acoustic line-ups, experimenting with all kinds of modern electronic music.
Christopher Cox is originally from San Francisco and currently lives in Budapest. He has played with many figures of the Budapest free music scene, and has been a regular trio with Péter Ajtai and Attila Gyárfás for over a year.
The entrance fee for the double concert is 3800 HUF, which directly supports the musicians!
Your ticket purchase is a direct support to the musicians and the Lumen program organization! You can also buy an extra support ticket for more than that, but if you really need it, you can also get a social ticket for less.
