Mozart's opera is a fairy tale for adults. The fairy-tale elements, the rehearsals of Tamino and Pamina, the laugh-out-loud scenes of Papageno and, last but not least, Mozart's magical music are perfect for bringing children closer to the world of opera. All it takes is the right presentation. János Lackfi, the distinguished poet and practising father, helped us to reimagine and rewrite The Magic Flute especially for younger children. We are ready to entertain the little ones on the stage!

The largest indoor complex in Hungarian railway history, a system of vast covered spaces unique in Europe, the Northern Railway Maintenance and Engineering Works was built between 1884 and 1886. After years of alterations and renovations, starting from 2020 it is now home to the Hungarian State Opera’s new logistics and art centre.
