Menorcan-born pianist Marco Mezquida is a leading figure on the Catalan contemporary and improvisational jazz scene and one of the most active figures on the Barcelona jazz scene. He has released more than twenty albums of his own and contributed to more than fifty other releases. He has also played with Silvia Pérez Cruz, who has performed to great acclaim at the House of Music. For his debut in Hungary, he will be making his Hungarian debut with his latest album, Letter to Milos, which features Mertín Meléndez on cello and Aleix Tobias on drums, accompanying this multi-faceted talent of the European music scene.
