Hajógyár x A38▪️Damara - Text and what's behind it
On 25 April, we're bringing the fun with Light and Boogie, as the Damara band comes on board the Ship as part of Music x Lyrics!

Schedule
♦️ How to liven up the evening? ♦️
Although Damara have only been adding colour to the local music scene since 2020, they released their second album in February. The band treads an alter line, but they're keen to experiment, whether it's with synthpop sounds or jazzy-funky themes. Their songs invite you to dance, but beyond the happy, light-hearted melodies, there's a serious message. The members of the band often draw inspiration from their own experiences and memories, so the lyrics are also about the search for goals and anxiety of youth. Their compositions aim to draw attention to these issues and provide a safe space for those who are struggling with similar difficulties. But all of this will be discussed during the evening, when Zsófi Kemény will be on hand to talk to the band. And after the talk, there will be music for the fun of it, as the guys will also be performing an acoustic concert for the audience.
Let the light shine and swing with us on 25 April on the deck of the Ship!
Hosted by Zsófi Kemény
A38 Ship
Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
