Race Horse Company (FIN) O'DD
An unbridled, cinematic dream: unknown dangers collide with acrobatics beyond imagination.

Schedule
For Finland's Rauli Dahlberg, the circus is about spectacle, storytelling and the element of surprise. His works are unbridled, bold, rough and risky, in a chaos controlled by a cinematic mood. His trampoline skills and muscularity are fearsome, unrelenting with himself, unafraid of nudity and ultra-physical acrobatics. Inspired by science fiction, he has created an imaginative story of man as a creature, of birth and struggle.
Dahlberg is a graduate of the French CNAC and is the company's artistic director, directing and performing in many of their plays. This is his first solo, which he has been producing for 8 years in parallel with their other plays. He will be joined by musician Miro Mantere, who will loop live the atmospheric sounds of his homemade instruments.
The Race Horse Company has been winning awards since 2008 and is a huge Finnish cultural export, we are making up for a serious shortfall by inviting them. Their uncompromising and daring performances combine danger and black humour with extreme physicality and daring acrobatics.
