HALAL HARDCORE is a guitar-synth duo formed by Maximilian Facchin (guitar) and Tobias Klingler (monosynth, drums, vocals) in Vienna in spring 2022.
Their music combines looped guitars with the coldness and precision of sequenced synth riffs and their life-affirming lyrics.
Their first EP 'Jetstreams' was released in February 2024. So far, two clips have been released: 'Kieferorthopädinnen' & 'Steigst du bei mir ein?'. Their album 'Keta Wave' was released in September 2024. Their new album 'American Staffordshire EP' will be released in April 2025.
HALAL HARDCORE considers itself a live band: all loops and sequences are played live. The band plays without backing tracks, so there is room for spontaneity during live performances.
The fusion of guitars and synthesizers leads to a hypnotic world where nothing is predetermined and everything seems possible.
