Amor Fati
This year, the free Open-Air Dance House will continue on the Open-Air Stage of the House of Music from May to September. The band Amor Fati will perform for the first time, and Katica Nagy and Bence Plaszkó will help those interested in learning to dance.

Schedule
Amor fati was founded by Fatima Szalay, and the band's first album, also titled amor fati, was released in December 2023 by Hangvető. The album is a life-affirming declaration of love for music, emotions, musical familiarity, and the intertwining of all these elements. The title of the album is a play on words with the singer's name, but it also reflects the consciousness that characterizes the whole concept. In addition to Hungarian folk music, the band's repertoire is defined by its openness to the music of the ethnic groups that live with us and influence us the most. These peoples have been shaping Hungarian culture and music for hundreds of years, so the album also features Turkish, Romanian, Gypsy, and Croatian songs. In addition to authentic Hungarian folk music, the album also features poetry set to music, world music, and sung fairy tales.
The members of the band are active young musicians who have played in several folk and world music groups and are committed to Hungarian folk music, but are also keen to experiment with other genres alongside folk music. The string section – Pál Danhauser, László Domonkos Bálint, and Máté Tóth – represents authentic folk music more strongly in the band and will be playing during the evening, while László Szlama and Bendegúz Avas reinforce the world music section.
