In addition to the many improvisation concerts, we thought that many people might be interested in the theoretical background of this elusive musical method and practice, the history of the genres based on it - what is it all about?
How can we even talk about it?
Perhaps not everyone knows, but one of our regular performers, Péter Ajtai, is a bassist, a bandleader and a teacher, and improvisation itself is a major theme in his teaching. The conversational format and the many concrete musical examples help to make the topic understandable, so we recommend it especially for laymen!
After each lecture there is a concert - the current part of our Tuesday Free Music series!
There is no fixed entrance fee for the performance, but you can support our performer and our programme with a voluntary donation!
