The ensemble, which sometimes features world-renowned guest artists
(Jim Rotondi; Szakcsi jr; Lukas Gabric) draws passionately
from the legacy of the “Blue Note era,” but always
maintains its desire to achieve a contemporary, fresh sound. The members are fanatical
fans of this New York tradition, whose lives would have turned out
differently if they had not encountered the recordings of Miles or Coltrane.
