Born and raised in Costa Rica, Paul Wolsch is not only an outstanding DJ and record collector, but also an Opera Stage Director for the Costa Rican Ministry of Culture. As a resident of the world-renowned Club Vertigo for more than 10 years, he has constantly shared the booth with leading artists from the international underground scene. He is widely recognized for his ability to deliver long, immersive after-hour sets. Beyond his residency, Paul has played regularly at the most important clubs and festivals across the region, and his sound is now resonating strongly in clubs around the world, including Europe. He is also the visionary founder of GAG, SPUNK, and WARP Festival—celebrated LGBTQIA+ platforms that champion queer artistry and foster inclusivity within the electronic music community. Paul’s polished sets and impeccable technique reveal an endless wealth of ideas, marked by sensitivity and eclectic taste. Refusing to be confined to a single style, he flows seamlessly from house to techno, weaving in acid house and rare selections that merge the many roots of underground electronic music. His distinctive identity lies in the element of surprise: his sets defy expectations, evolving into unique sonic journeys that make him a truly exceptional artist.
