With family yoga, puppet shows, board games and crafts, the all-day Pöttöm Margit X RaD Kids Festival will welcome children on the second Saturday of September. Born from the heartfelt collaboration of more than 20 Margit Quarter businesses, the event will take place around Mechwart Park, with most programs free to attend.
To kick off the autumn, over 20 businesses from the Margit Quarter are preparing a fantastic variety of activities for kids around Mechwart Park. Highlights include puppet theatre, children’s film screenings, giant board games, craft workshops, a baby-friendly “pub quiz,” face painting, a market featuring sustainable Hungarian brands, the Hello Parent Roadshow Extra roundtable, and a treasure hunt with exciting prizes.
Between activities, families can recharge at local restaurants and cafés offering kids’ menus, or cool down with sweet treats from Buda Ice Cream. 🍦
