30Y, celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, will close the year with an unmissable double concert at Dürer Kert on December 28 and 29.

"We should start with 25 years. But to be more precise, it's the twenty-fifth. Otherwise, it would be like going forward while looking in the rearview mirror, your past receding from you, and you can't see anything where you're going. Or we could prepare to celebrate ourselves. We could boast about what, how much, how big, how great; or we could act desperately modest, waiting for words of praise, pats on the back, cake, and champagne. But we think 2025 is a year that gives us the opportunity to do what we know, love, and are used to doing—surprisingly, we will be giving concerts, because 30Y is a band. Clubs in the spring and fall, festivals and open-air venues in the summer: the December 28 stop on 30Y's 25th anniversary club tour is Dürer Kert.

Dürer Kert, which moved from the City Park to the vicinity of Kopaszi Dam, is one of the hangouts of Budapest's surviving peripheral subcultures, but it's also worth visiting if you just want a perfect garden spot. That is, starting in spring. Until then, let's keep rockin'! And after that, too.
