DUNYHA's unique sound comes from the language of collective free improvisation, complemented by elements of doom metal and punk. The band's concept emphasizes "untouched ears" – musicians who come from outside the tradition and can therefore relate to this musical material from a new perspective. The aim of the project is not to overwrite or question tradition, but to present the psychology of folk songs in a more intense way.
BEFORE THE CONCERT Song learning from 7:30 p.m.!
We will start the evening with a joint folk song learning session with Ilka Kisgyörgy and Áron Porteleki, where we will learn songs from the DUNYHA program, which we can then sing together at the concert.
The concert is open to everyone, regardless of whether they participate in the workshop.
The workshop has limited capacity, and participation is by advance registration only!
