Schedule

The band Dungaree, founded in 2014, has become an important factor in the Hungarian stoner rock culture in just a few years. After two singles, with their first LP, Bipolar World, released in 2016, they immediately established themselves in the musical public consciousness. Their haunting live sound is unique in the country and this is echoed on their records as well. Nothing proves this better than the fact that the recordings of their second LP, Electric Altar, were recorded in London in 2018 at the well-known Toe Rag Studios by the hands of Grammy award-winning producer and sound engineer Liam Watson (White Stripes, Electric Wizard, Uncle Acid) and under completely analogous conditions. The studio recordings were followed by English club concerts. The album achieved enormous success in the international press. Exclusively released on the genre's biggest medium, Stoned Meadow Of Doom, as well as the Weedian music site. The team constantly performs concerts in domestic clubs and festivals, and is also present on the international scene. They also regularly visit Romania and Serbia. In the 2018 festival season, they played at the Sziget Festival, the Campus festival, and the main stage of the Szeged Youth Days. In 2019, in addition to their club and festival concerts, the team went on a two-week Balkan Tour in the spring, which went back to Hungary through Romania, Bulgaria, Greece and Serbia. In 2021, they released two singles titled 'Mountain' and 'Monolith'.

Location

Szimpla Garden

One of Budapest's most famous venues is the Szimpla Kert. Although nowadays it is clearly designed for tourists, this doesn't change the fact that there are few places where you can experience the old ruin pub feeling.
