Pénzes Máté és a Zseb – Arany és Kék

Blahalouisiana keyboardist Máté Pénzes, also known from the Black Circle Orchestra, released his first solo album in 2023, featuring different musician friends and role models in each song, from Tibor Tátrai to János Solti. In the same year, he formed the band Pénzes Máté és a Zseb, which paid tribute to the legendary LGT album Bummm! released in 1973, by covering the entire album. The band's first album featuring their own songs is titled Az első igazi (The First Real One), and they will be presenting the material from it at Müpa. The evening consists of two parts: after the band's characteristic classic soul-funk-blues style, we enter a much deeper, more dramatic world, where we explore depths and heights through well-known and lesser-known "blue" songs, moods, and a little literature.
