Slapstick?
Slapstick? is a trio from Budapest who play funky, jazz and hip-hop, with a touch of electronica. They currently have no permanent vocalist, so they are working with various guest artists on their forthcoming album, which already has several singles available. They will also be bringing a number of guests (e.g. Lighghty) to the concert to bring their usual energetic, improvisational elements to the concert experience.
Gorg & Benzol
If you think you can expect laid-back easy-listening, or even extremely accessible, fusion jazz from Gorg & Benzol, you'd be wrong. Music theory oddities, hectic shifts to techno or Latin, stomach-turning and love songs hand in hand. The exciting thing is that they never know where they're going, but the point is that at least they get there in the end.
A38 Ship
Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
