KÁLI Picnic 2023 @ Köveskál
It's good to be at at the KÁLI Picnic!
Going on a picnic, eating delicious food, listening to culture and watching artists at work in a fabulous setting can seem like a dreamlike programme. In the year of the European Capital of Culture Veszprém-Balaton 2023, we thought big and combined these three things into one mass: the KÁLI Picnic was born.

Schedule
Mountains, valleys, winding serpentines between vineyards and wine cellars, rustic buildings - sounds fabulous, doesn't it? In September 2-3, in one of Hungary's most beautiful regions, the Káli Basin, we will organise the KÁLI Picnic with the famous characters of the Gasztrofalu.
It is a festival where gastronomy and art meet, in a special place and with a special concept, creating a unique atmosphere. The exhibitors at the KÁLI Picnic are some of the most renowned restaurants and catering establishments in the country. Local and visiting restaurants will offer a gastronomic offer rarely seen in one place at one time - including Michelin-starred restaurants and chefs visiting Köveskál.
Art is also an important part of the event. We'll showcase the work of artists (painters, designers) in a hands-on, highly interactive way through workshops and have round-table discussions with a host of people responsible for Hungarian (gastronomic) culture.
Two such great things as art and gastronomy "served" in a picturesque setting. This can only be good!
The KÁLI Picnic is supported by the European Capital of Culture Veszprém-Balaton 2023.
The event is free!
Köveskál-Gastrovillage
Köveskál-Gastrovillage, where it's good to be and good to eat. It's always good to eat well, but it's hard to get enough.
The spirit of Gastrovillage is the result of a friendly collaboration between the five oldest restaurants in the area. The Káli Art Inn, Kővirág, Mi a Kő, Pálffy cellar and Kálikövek winery, together we work for our village, primarily in the framework of social responsibility.
