Vibe Changers x Bea Palya × Andrew Hefler

The unique bi-weekly venture on Tuesdays is a blend of a club night series and a talent show, which was launched last year by two of Budapest's best-known improvisation teams with great success. In recent years, Random Trip and Seven Seconds In The Future have been luring music lovers who experience the moment of music's birth as a cathartic experience, from club to club, festival to festival, week after week.

The wonderful news for fans is that the club night, dubbed Vibe Changers, will also focus on improvisation, but while the first half of the evening will be dedicated to the hosts playing pleasure music with invited guests, the second half of the evening will be open mic for future soloists (singers, mc's, brass players) to join the founders of the club, where a few rounds of musical board games will be played to see who has the strongest vibe of the evening, or whose musicality and presence is the most energetic and fitting to the music of the evening, courtesy of the jury, or the audience and the band.

Special guests this evening are Palya Bea and Andrew Hefler.

"The emphasis is not on virtuosity, but on that invisible vibration that often emanates from our favourite artists and that makes it hard for us to explain what gives us goosebumps and makes us dance, why we shed a tear or just feel better," says Jávor Delov, founder of Random Trip, who has had similar experiences playing with Kristóf Nagy, the mainstay of Seven Seconds In the Future.

The long-term goal is for the champions of the nights to return from time to time in a musical parlor game, and for the most energetic singer, rapper and instrumental soloist to emerge as the absolute winner on the Fábián Juli Stage at the Paloznak Jazz Picnic on 3 August, and at one of Random Trip's big concerts in 2023.
