Guerilla Grill & Picnic
On the last weekend of September, we close the picnic spot on Pápa Square with a community barbecue. Don't miss the most minimal street food festival of Budapest and the district! There are no chefs or cool food trucks here, just you and your friends or your little family. This time you can prepare your street food yourself, in the middle of a public park, a little guerilla.

All participants who register for the event in advance will receive a free mini-grill tray at the start of the joint grilling. With the help of the automatic, degradable and environmentally friendly (really!) tool, you can use the ingredients you brought from home to prepare the coolest lunch of the week - whether it's a burger, a few slices of zucchini or kapia, or a toasted wrap or bagel sandwich.
If you would like to do your shopping on the spot and have a little adventure towards new flavors and styles, event participants can get the freshest and oriental-exotic ingredients from the Troja Turkish grocery store with a 10% discount.
Programmes during the Guerrilla Grill: DJ-set plus children's corner with crafts from veggies.
Rules:
- Pre-registration is required if you would like to grill (link coming soon)
- Everyone uses the grill device at their own risk. (The use is illustrated in the event, it's not a big deal.)
- You have a maximum of 1 hour available for baking (the device produces heat until then).
- Keep the park clean, dispose of the generated garbage (including the used grill tray) at the designated point.
- Pay attention to the safety of others, including dogs in the park.
- Please join us if you simply wanna watch or sit around for a while.
The number of places is limited!
There will be a bathroom in the Kastner Kommunity cafe. We provide air sofas and garden furniture for the picnic. We reserve the right to change the program.
