Giant Rooks - monumental indie-rock anthems at Dürer Kert.
The Giant Rooks have successfully jumped up and down the ladder in recent years: first in their home country of Germany, where they sold out shows and hit the charts, then in North America and Europe, where they have become increasingly successful, with hundreds of millions of streams and major festival appearances. This year, they performed at Sziget and next year they will be coming to Budapest with their brand new album to rock hearts on their own at Dürer Kert on 23 March.

Giant Rooks is a German indie rock band from Hamm, Germany, formed in 2014. In 2019 they won the 1Live Krone Award and the Preis für Popkultur. Their debut album Rookery was released on 28 August 2020.

Dürer Kert, which moved from the City Park to the vicinity of Kopaszi Dam, is one of the hangouts of Budapest's surviving peripheral subcultures, but it's also worth visiting if you just want a perfect garden spot. That is, starting in spring. Until then, let's keep rockin'! And after that, too.
