Schedule
The storerooms of the Hungarian Museum of Architecture and Historic Monuments Documentation Centre hold wonderful things, which, with expert interpretation, can reveal even more. Our staff will be giving two guided tours of the Jász Street warehouse.
Last year, the Hungarian institutional heritage conservation organisation celebrated the 150th anniversary of its foundation. To mark the occasion, our exhibition featured a number of fascinating documents, objects and interviews that showcased the beauty and importance of the profession. Our expert colleagues give us a glimpse into their work and the exciting objects in the collection. Photographs, blueprints and salvaged fragments evoke buildings that have often been destroyed and tell the story of successful restorations.
Our tour is recommended for lovers of architecture and monuments, but it is also useful for those who are about to embark on further studies.
