Fran Palermo
Fran Palermo was founded in late 2011 by singer-guitarist-frontman Henri Gonzo in Budapest. The band's style covers many different genres from indie to rock and roll to afropop, all spiced up with a Mediterranean vibe with percussion, brass and keyboards. Their unique, complex sound is perhaps due to the fact that the children of four nations - Hungarian, Spanish, Cuban, Greek - have brought their musical cultures and fused them together. The group has now grown into a major Budapest concert band with a loyal fan base.
On stage, the eclectic décor of the band will set the mood, and Deep Glaze will open the evening!
Location
A38 Ship
Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
