Stefania Pénzes's drawings have been compared to Frida Kahlo's style for their emotional expression. The world of Mexico is inspiring to her not only visually, but also musically. She has participated in several literary and theatrical events as a solo singer with the band Uknow Duo, singing the country's folk songs and arrangements of ballads by Chavela Vargas.

In her solo exhibition #triggerwarning 2020, which was based on the theme of mental health, curator Zsófia Nagy compared her drawings to the visual world of Egon Schiele. The exhibition was received with great interest due to the media's unique style, thematic and taboo-denial of mental health.

Her exhibition "Unfinished Business" is also psychologically inspired, as artistic expression is inseparable from self-reflection. Its title carries multiple meanings; it is both hopeful and distressing. It says: you still have work to do in life; at the same time, it reminds us of the uncertainty of the unfinished.

Its psychological definition comes from David Freeman, mentioned by Dr. Gábor Máté in his book Distracted Minds: 'a present emotional reaction shaped by past experience'.

The exhibition will be opened by the director Dániel Dicső, whose name has already been introduced to the audience of the Pinceszínház.

The opening will be followed by a concert featuring, among others, the Uknow Duo (Stefi Pénzes and Szabi Dörnyei).

Admission is free, no registration required
