János R. Szabó has been a photographer at Kolorádó Festival since the beginning, and his images reflect his unique approach every year. This year was no different, but instead of the usual requests, we left it entirely up to János to decide what, when and where to capture at the festival. The result, largely analogue, was beyond anything we could have imagined.

The pictures are not of the party scenes and performers, but of you, from an angle that could have been yours. Behind each portrait we see stories, juxtaposed with atmospheric images of nature, lights and an unmistakably Kolorádó atmosphere. Breathtakingly beautiful faces, personal stories, a collective reliving of emotions and moments: that's what you can expect.
