Konyhakör 10: Futuro Luminoso

The fresh and often decadent evenings in Budapest have achieved their goal, and now we come to the final chapter on 19 January. Unaware of the rigours of gastronomy, I organised the dozens of dinners without interest or bias, in gymnasiums and currentless industrial facilities, among travelling chefs and stars. Carefully selected chapters of the CC were set like a novel in the historical spaces, each carrying messages to the guests.

I wanted to show how in infidelity we can still remain faithful. Each of our dinners is a plaque, marking the mutilated history of Budapest and our country. I am convinced that the language of form is changing around us, and so the language of the "public pop-up" in the gastronomy, dinner section is also doomed to change. So, allowing the greater force to take its course, the ten years of public pop-up dinners organised for cultural occasions are now coming to their final chapter.

The Futuro Luminoso event is organised in magical fashion, with our friend Álmos Galeotti. By eliminating physical forces, using procedures such as dreaming and willpower. Álmos's triumph in gastronomy began years ago, a brilliant stop on this journey being Ristorante Uliassi in Senigallia, where he spent two years. Álmos and I are united by our daring and perseverance, beyond our many years together. We are bound together by spending time in our minds. At many points in our lives so far, we could have found an opportunity to organise a dinner party, but for some reason we felt that the time had not yet come - until now.

The Futuro Luminoso dinner is not just a death-defying and cheeky essay of our friendship, but a sculpture of Ristorante Uliassi's heritage in Budapest.
