Environmental Justice Questions - workshop with Harun Morrison
The event will feature a presentation by artist, writer and activist Harun Morrison and curator Borbála Soós of the project Environmental Justice Issues, followed by a workshop. In small groups we will explore some of the issues related to the climate crisis and environmental justice.

Organised and edited by Harun Morrison, Environmental Justice Questions is a growing collection of questions that encourages discussion and productive debate. The new edition in Hungarian, published on the occasion of the exhibition BALATORIUM - Troubled Waters (House of Arts Veszprém, 19 October 2023 - 28 January 2024), has now been expanded to 100 questions, enriched by questions from Hungarian artists, anthropologists, curators and activists, among others.

Harun Morrison is a London-based artist and writer. He is currently artist-in-residence at Greenpeace UK and resident designer and researcher at the V&A Dundee. His novel The Escape Artist will be published by Book Works in early 2024. Together with Helen Walker, they have been running their project They Are Here since 2006, working primarily on context-specific games. She was previously a fellow at the Black Cultural Archive.
Borbála Soós is a Hungarian curator based in London and currently curator of the Stanley Picker Gallery at Kingston University, London.
The original version of the Environmental Justice Questions was developed in collaboration with Mossutstallningar and with additional support from V&A Dundee and the APAP network. This edition was produced for the exhibition BALATORIUM - Troubled Waters (House of Arts, Veszprém, curated by Borbála Soós) as part of the European Capital of Culture, Veszprém-Balaton 2023, and received additional support from the British Council Hungary. The deck of cards will continue its life as a public artwork beyond the exhibition.
