PATRIARCHY (Los Angeles, US)
The Los Angeles-based Patriarchy, famous for its extravagant appearance and performances, is finally coming to Hungary. After last year's highly successful European tour, they are returning for another tour, in which Budapest is also their goal. Their electronic-based music, which does not lack powerful guitars, is dominated by the stylistics of darkwave, deathrock and industrial (in some places leaning towards industrial metal), with singer Actually Huizenga's deep soulful performance and provocative, outspoken lyrics. Both of their LPs, 2019's Asking For It and 2022's The Unself, achieved significant critical and audience success, and their remix albums featured big guns of the dark alternative scene, such as Bon Harris from Nitzer Ebb, Rhys Fulber from Front Line Assembly from or John Fryer from This Mortal Coil (who was also the producer/sound engineer of Fad Gadget, Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails, Die Krupps or Clan of Xymox), as well as the most important figures of the underground, including Drab Majesty, Soft Moon, Kontravoid, Spike Hellis, Light Asylum, Kris Baha, Zanias, and the list goes on. The highlight of last year's tour was the performance at the cult Grauzone festival in the Netherlands, this year's tour is organized around the no less legendary Roadburn festival, also in the Netherlands, where they can once again show their power to an understanding audience.

VOID VISION (Philadelphia, US)
The electronic solo project of Philidelphia's Shari Vari, Void Vision, was already seen in Hungary in 2019, when she gave an unforgettable concert in the company of the great master of minimal synth Xeno & Oaklander in Dürer Kert. Analogue synthesizers, groovebox, sampler, masterful drum programs, magical, charming vocals - everything you need for perfect minimal wave/coldwave/darkwave music is together.

VÉNA (Budapest, HU)
Véna, the project of Sahrah Viola, known as the singer of Rats Kill Bats and keyboard player of I.O.N.and Árpi, also known as the guitarist of Süllyedő Világ, released their debut EP at the end of last year, which immediately attracted the interest of lovers of dark music. Not by chance. In their music, which is based on exciting guitar and synthesizer themes and swirling drum machine rhythms, the characteristics of darkwave, postpunk and synthpunk gain a new meaning, all of which is peppered with suggestive vocals and thought-provoking lyrics in Hungarian - guaranteed not to leave the audience indifferent.
