King Nun was formed by school friends who were bound together by their outsider-ness and their passion for music. But now they've become a band on the verge of breaking through, touring ahead of the likes of Foo Fighters and Black Flag, and much praised by the rock press, forging their way with their honest and brash garage rock music.
With their second album, King Nun is on its way to becoming a mature act that will introduce more people to their raw music, and we'll be seeing them live at the Dürer Kert on 9 April.

Dürer Kert, which moved from the City Park to the vicinity of Kopaszi Dam, is one of the hangouts of Budapest's surviving peripheral subcultures, but it's also worth visiting if you just want a perfect garden spot. That is, starting in spring. Until then, let's keep rockin'! And after that, too.
