Tribal Market

At the May Fair, we will be plunged into the world of magical worldview and Hungarian folk tales, beyond the operience.

"Beyond the Ocean of the Perennial Sea lies the Golden Forest and Fairyland, with its fairies. Fairies are playful, lively creatures. In the Székely folk tale The Shepherd's Guards of Gyimes, they do their best to cheer up anyone who comes to them. They dance, leap, clown around, hold the son of man in their arms, tickle his ears with a sweet grass tickle, bring him water from the fountain of eternal life in a diamond shell to cheer up the shepherd boy who is struggling with homesickness.

In the middle of fairyland stands the palace of Fairy Ilona, in the fairy palace is the Water of Life, in the garden is the golden apple tree, and on it sings the all-knowing, magical golden apples of the golden-feathered bird with its magic song.

The golden apple is the tree of the world, and at its feet is the hot milk pool, in which the fairy-tale hero is bathed and reborn a hundred times more beautiful and stronger."

(Excerpt from the book Soul and Universe by Atilla Grandpierre)

On this day, you can be the Son of Man, with whom you can dance, jump, bathe in the waters of Life, which will now be the Danube, have fun, eat, shop, and make yourself beautiful through various musical and charitable activities.

Creative workshops, a drum circle, henna painting, plant demonstrations, better and better goods and rocking music await you, and then you can get in the spirit of the sunset with a concert.

Location

Dürer Garden

Recently moved from its original location, the Dürer is a staple of Budapest's metal scene. But don't be scared, it's worth a visit even if you just want to have a couple of drinks by the Danube. From spring, of course.
