Phal:Angst & Iamyank noise guitar set

The Vienna-based band Phal:Angst has been following their vision of electronic industrial and analogue post rock for 16 years. The band is rooted in the DIY Punk/Hardcore scene that flourished in the late 90s and early 2000s. They have created their own digital infrastructure alongside all aspects of music, gigging and label work. Experimentation has always played an important role in their musical world. In their continuous self-improvement, they are increasingly giving way to electronic sounds, but their fundamental musical beliefs and social engagement have not changed since their inception.

IAMYANK joins the evening with his special experimental solo guitar set: 'I've always loved solo ambient sets, but the only thing I've missed is crossing that invisible boundary between up and down, where peace darkens into ominousness, tension rises from comfort and it all gets swept away by something infinite.
