Chris Bergson from New York is a great songwriter, a great guitarist and a great singer.
Songs reminiscent of Bob Dylan and Van Morrison, blended with instrumental playing that uniquely blends the heritage of the best blues and jazz guitarists.
His albums have won awards and he has toured in almost every country in Europe.
His talent as a guest musician has been used by many world stars (Norah Jones, Levon Helm, Hubert Sumlin, Bernard Purdie, Annie Ross, Al Foster, Matt Wilson, etc.)
His 2007 Fall Changes was recorded at Levon Helm's legendary Woodstock studio. The album was voted Best Blues Album of the Year by MOJO Magazine and subsequent albums have all been included in the magazine's year-end Best of the Year poll.
In 2015, he was inducted into the New York Blues Hall of Fame.
He has been a lecturer in guitar and songwriting at Berklee College of Music for several years.

For his concert in Budapest, he will be accompanied by his spiritual partner, the inimitable Ripoff Raskolnikov and his band.
The RIPOFF RASKOLNIKOV BAND is one of the finest representatives of the Americana style (blues, folk, songwriting-performers from Bob Dylan to Tom Waits) in Hungary, led by the Austrian-born guitarist Ripoff Raskolnikov, who has been living in Hungary for thirty years.
Ripoff Raskolnikov started out in the world at the age of 18, he too toured European countries as a street musician, so Luti and Ripoff Raskolnikov have a similarity. Raskolnikov's early interest was in European folk music, and gradually he developed a songwriting attitude rooted in American folklore, which has influenced the music of Bob Dylan, Tom Waits and even the Rolling Stones. His iconic stage appearance was first seen by Hungarian audiences in November 1987. Since then, he has given countless concerts here, and Hungary is now one of his homes. He last released a studio album (Small World) in 2018, but his latest release is 2023, a concert album Live, released in September, which perfectly illustrates why this concert is a must-attend. Ripoff's songs cover the full spectrum of human emotion - from love, to everyday troubles, to passion, to loss, to the pursuit of beauty.
