IMPORTANT UPDATE – NEW LOCATION: OBUDA BAY
Following consultations with HungaroMet / OMSZ weather experts, Great Piknik will take place at a new location: OBUDA BAY.
The lineup, dates and core program remain unchanged.
We are currently working around the clock to recreate as much of the original festival experience as possible at the new venue.
Expanded crew, additional technical staff and extended infrastructure are already being deployed to ensure the House Piknik atmosphere stays exactly as it should.
What’s coming to Obuda Bay:

• upgraded infrastructure
• expanded festival staff and technical production
Obuda Bay is one of Budapest’s most unique waterfront venues.
Sunset views, riverside vibes, palm trees and a much more intimate Piknik experience await.

Óbuda Bay is Hungary's first and only daytime event venue, providing a world-class home for daytime events. The 1,500 m² area is an ideal venue for daytime programs, made unique by its modern technical equipment and premium services. The weather is never an obstacle: the covered dance floor and side walls that can be closed if necessary guarantee an undisturbed program. The Backstage VIP area and table service take the guest experience to a higher level, while the latest L'Acoustics sound system provides crystal-clear sound. The visual experience is provided by a 120 m² LED wall and more than 150 lighting units, which together create an unforgettable atmosphere, adding a new dimension to daytime events in Budapest.
