Jep Gambardella, a writer and journalist, is a central figure in Roman high society. Although he is considered a talented writer, he has written only one book—and that was 40 years ago. Instead of writing, Jep devotes most of his energy to attending high-society events and parties that last until dawn. Essentially, he lives at night and does hardly anything during the day.
Since turning 65, Jep has been thinking more and more about the futility of his life; sometimes with irony, sometimes with resignation, he reflects on himself and the social elite of which he is a part. He continues to party, but in the meantime, he explores Rome. He meets with old and new acquaintances, mainly to discover the “great beauty” hidden behind the chatter and noise.

Bem Cinema
In January 2016, the 108-year-old Bem Cinema will reopen its doors to the public, in a new way never seen before in Hungary: as a cinema of cult and classic films (no harm!), or as the educated French say (if you know your English): as a "repertory cinema".
