Schubert NOW!

The trio of Veronika Harcsa, Anastasia Razvalyaeva, and Bálint Bolcsó reinterprets the works of classical composers in a contemporary style. To date, they have released two albums that have garnered international attention on BMC Records: Debussy NOW! was released in 2020, followed by Schubert NOW! in 2025. The improvisations, the timbres bridging classical and jazz vocal techniques, and live electronic effects further expand the songs’ boundless, sensual, and eerily beautiful universe, while simultaneously broadening the expressive range of the human voice and the harp—well-known, timeless pieces are transformed into truly contemporary spatial experiences in the trio’s performance. In recent years, the ensemble has performed at both jazzahead! and Classical:NEXT, Europe’s most significant showcase festivals for the convergence of jazz and classical music, and is currently working on its third album, offering a first glimpse of it at this concert.
