Cafe Medrano is another guitarist version of the band Cabaret Medrano. In addition to the usual Latin, jazz elements, there is more blues and rock improvisation, overall a little more scratchy, more alter than the big brother. The Balkan klezmer and gipsy-tango motif can also be found in their songs again. On their debut single, released in 2024, the oriental atmosphere of the song Heat the Gangon mixes the Balkan, klezmer and Arabic motifs proportionately.

And the song One-Eyed Cat draws on the traditions of psychedelic country blues, reminiscent of and reflecting on the songs of Tom Waits and Lou Reed.
Cafe Medrano is a typically Budapest band that combines the diversity of the city in its music and lyrics. The scenes and moods typical of the capital come to life in their songs as well: a soda shop shouting on the street, a one-eyed cat sunbathing on the gang, or a tramp who lives in a fishing cabin.
