🎶 Zuboly

The band Zuboly is one of the most diverse groups on today’s Hungarian pop music scene. They have performed in nearly every country in Europe, and the sold-out crowds at major festivals here at home have proven that their collaboration was well worth it.

Sometimes as cultural ambassadors of Hungarian diplomacy, other times as a lively party band. Their concerts are rebroadcast every year on one of the TV channels, and they have performed at the Palace of Arts and the Hungarian House of Music.

Zoltán Mizsei: keyboards, vocals

The essence of their style is to find a harmonious transition between folk songs and contemporary songs (which also includes pop music, opera, Hungarian folk songs, jazz, and Gypsy songs), elevating all that is good to a new level while dispelling preconceptions and prejudices—and entertaining the audience in the process.

Yet Zuboly’s music isn’t just a parade of jokes. It’s more like an acrobatic act, which they perform in their own unique way—but one that also makes you laugh.

They work and tinker like shepherds whenever their time allows.
