One of the most acclaimed international blues icons of our time, Wilson is sure to captivate everyone with his extraordinary life story and his emotionally charged voice.

Hailing from the tiny, isolated world of Edenton, North Carolina, Wilson discovered the blues in Germany during his military service, and went on to become a defining figure on European stages by singing his own intimate stories. His first songs and poems were written for a German girl’s heart, and the blues helped him overcome his inhibitions, giving birth to the warm, soulful voice that has since become legendary.

He has released more than a dozen studio albums, and his name is associated with such timeless classics as “Walk a Mile In My Shoes,” “Cross Creek Road,” and “Thumb a Ride.” His band, the brilliant Goosebumps Brothers, is also a prominent player on the European blues scene, so the concert is guaranteed to be a rich musical experience.
