Schedule

The band Kiscsillag, which defined itself as a hobby garage band when it was formed in 2005, is now considered one of Hungary’s leading alternative rock bands. Celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, the band’s songs—always guitar-driven yet incorporating numerous diverse stylistic elements—along with their energetic performance style, Lovasi’s emblematic lyrics, and the polyphonic vocal themes that emerged in the band’s later years have made Kiscsillag one of the most distinctive, unique-sounding, boldly experimental, and ever-evolving acts. In the current lineup, alongside the two founders, Gábor Leskovics (PUF) and András Lovasi (Kispál és a Borz), Dávid Szesztay—who has now risen to the level of singer-songwriter-multi-instrumentalist—plays, while Imre Hajba plays bass and Ferenc Bajkai is on drums. At the concerts of the 2026 season, in addition to the most important songs from their twenty-year career, the band will also perform a few tracks from their latest album, set for release in April!

Location

Budapest Park

Budapest Park, the biggest and coolest open air concert venue of the city hosts the cream of the crop in foreign and domestic mainstream music every year. At first glance, it might seem like the Park is very much out of town, but this is far from the truth - and since the soundsystem was completely renovated last season, we can only recommend the venue even more.
