BashElán

The band was formed in 2022 under the leadership of Zsombor Herédi, bringing together talented young musicians from the Hungarian folk music scene. The members’ collaboration dates back much further than the band’s official formation, which is why the bond between them is as strong musically as it is emotionally. Since their debut, they have become an integral part of the world music and folk music scene in the Carpathian Basin. In 2025, they won the “Fonó Discovery” award from the Fonó Budai Zeneház. They are active participants in dance houses, clubs, and summer festivals. Their philosophy of life is joyful music-making, revelry, and the entertainment that flows directly from it—an invitation to dance to the rhythm. In their music, they blend Hungarian folk music with Balkan rhythms and Transylvanian Gypsy music, creating a unique musical atmosphere and spicing it up with a touch of improvisation. Their second major album, titled Titkon, was released in 2025. Throughout their collaborative projects, they have had the opportunity to work with renowned artists such as the Barcelona Gipsy Klezmer Orchestra, Parno Graszt, and the Fitos Dezső Company.

Tindia

The band Tindia began its career in 2015 at a popular Budapest café, where they regularly held Moldavian dance parties and folk nights. The band, now in its eleventh year, has evolved significantly since then. Their music, rooted at the intersection of folk and world music, is brought to life by the intense feminine energy within the group, their freely expressed humor, and their unbridled dance-house energy.
