𝑫𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒎𝒔 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝒕𝒓𝒖𝒆… 𝒂𝒏𝒅, 𝒊𝒇 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒄𝒂𝒏 𝒅𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒎 𝒊𝒕, 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒄𝒂𝒏 𝒃𝒖𝒊𝒍𝒅 𝒊𝒕.
The Venezuelan painter 𝐙𝐞𝐮𝐬 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐬 had long-dreamed of having his paintings recreated from Lego-bricks. When he met the group called 𝒕𝒆𝒌𝒆𝒓𝒅!, this dream was turning into a reality.
Young members of the Nyíregyháza-based group developing art projects with the support of LEGO immediately connected with the world of Zeus’s art. Their mutual sympathy and respect for each other’s work now results in a fascinating collaboration – 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐙𝐞𝐮𝐬’𝐬 𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐋ego-𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐬.
The first installment of this constructive collaboration already brought to life one of Zeus’s mythical characters, a boxing chicken last year; on January 20, however, we are embarking on a much more ambitious project – and we need your hands and enthusiasm:

The original painting, which Zeus created during his live painting performance at Sziget Festival in 2023, was donated by the artist to tekerd!.
A bar with drinks and snacks will be available during the event.

𝐭𝐞𝐤𝐞𝐫𝐝!
A group of students from the Wesselényi Miklós Technical Secondary School and Student's Hostel of Nyíregyháza Center of Vocational Training in Nyíregyháza, Hungary using LEGO bricks to create mesmerizing projects in and outside of Hungary, collaborating with national and international artists in recreating artworks since 2014. Their projects are made possible with the support of the LEGO Group as part of the company’s Local Community Engagement program. Some of their murals were built and have been exhibited in the Hungarian National Gallery, Ludwig Museum, Museum of Fine Arts, and Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in Budapest, Hungary. Their name tekerd! originates from the title of a song by Anima Sound System.
Created by past and present members, the group has formalized into an association, assisting their activities and focusing on supporting their most disadvantaged members with integration, learning and behavioral difficulties and special educational needs by participating in art projects.
