DJ Premier, one of the most prominent figures in hip-hop history, is coming to Budapest on 2 June! Gang Starr were one of the most iconic hip-hop acts of the 90s, alongside Cypress Hill, A Tribe Called Quest and Das EFX. It was in this duo that DJ Premier, now one of hip-hop's most important figures, made his Gang Starr debut as a party behind Guru. Premier's tracks are unmistakable for their aggressive and raw soundscapes, battling loops and heavy scratches, evoking the Brooklyn vibe more than anyone else.
